Public bug reported:
My internet has worked flawlessly for years with Ubuntu with no
connection problems whatsoever.
In the last couple of weeks (I'm not sure exactly when it started), I
have been starting to lose the connection every now and then.
What happens:
I'm browsing the internet, when suddenly NetworkManager tells me that I've lost connection. It attempts to reconnect, but after attempting reconnect for approx. 30-40 seconds, it suddenly pops up and asks me to check if the network key I've entered is correct (which it is). If I re-enter it, it retries to connect, but again returns and asks me to enter network key. It keeps repeating this cycle until it just gives up and disconnects.
If I reboot the computer everything works fine again
lspci states that my adapter is '05:01.0 Network controller: RaLink
RT2800 802.11n PCI'
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
