Did "apt-get fglrx" and reboot, same behaviour.

I will attach /var/log/Xorg.0.log and /var/log/messages both for radeon
(original) and after installing fglrx.

The messages file has a few "[drm] Resetting GPU" lines, not sure if
they are relevant.
