[Bug 592994] [NEW] HP Pavilion dv7 does neither suspend nor hibernate

Public bug reported:

When putting this laptop into hibernation or suspend, the screen goes
black, but the laptop is not shutdown and cannot be resumed.

After forcing the computer to shutdown by pressing 5 seconds on the
power button and restarting, network is disabled in Network Manager.


Reproducible on Lucid lynx on x86_64 with both nouveau and nvidia
