[Bug 593293] [NEW] disk usage for 10 seconds when plugging the AC [2.6.35-2-generic]

Public bug reported:

The steps to reproduce are very simple:
1) unplug the AC
2) plug the AC

what happens: the hard disk led stays lighted for 10~20 seconds, while the laptop in unresponsive.
I've hisolated the dmesg, which I'll paste here
