[Bug 594523] Re: ALERT! /dev/disk ... does not exist.

OK, I booted cold this morning (I have seen a couple of articles on this
issue suggesting that it may be more common when the machine is cold)
and it is still running fine. So, I guess that the problem is limited to
10.04.

What would you like me to do next? I never got the previous install of
10.04 to boot before I installed 10.10 so I never got access to a
terminal.
