This is a known bug with a lot of USB hardware, and its to do with the
hardware drivers. Please try adding the PPA ubuntu-audio-dev/ppa and
installing linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.32-14-generic and reboot.
Please let us know if this fixes your problem.
