Public bug reported:

Using USB drive image created using the USB Startup Disk Creator tool.
On a Dell Latitude D630, in a docking station, with a second external monitor.

After the grub screen, the white throbbing icon appears for a few seconds.
Then the screen goes black, and nothing more happens.
CTRL-ALT-1 does nothing
CTRL-ALT-DEL reboots.

Tried again - same result.
Undocked the laptop and tried again - this time it worked. Perhaps this is significant?

Hopefully the crash reporter will have included any further information
you require.
