[Bug 532177] [NEW] Need to VT-switch after resume from suspend to get display to work

Public bug reported:

After resuming from a suspend on an HP EliteBook 8530w in Lucid, the
display comes back either all black, or mostly black with a few random
blocks of dark-ish colors.

ctrl_alt_f1 switching to console and then back to X (f7) fixes the
problem, however.

haven't run previous releases on this laptop, so not sure if regression
or always broken, but have usualy had good success w/ suspend on various
laptops in past few years.

Seeing this currently w/ nvidia driver, but believe I also saw same
behavior w/ nouveau default driver.
