my 8.04 desktop ed on S6410 laptop has very little volume output even
when i turned every possible volume control to max. it's even worst when
watch movies using default movie player.

The worst is that line out is not working (i think it's a bug), thus I
can't improve sound volume using speakers.

please advise if there's any setting or updates that could help. many
thanks.
