And that is why Dan Chen is the "sound guy" .  Modulo Launchpad not
playing nice with those spaces in that URL, that

ignore_dB=1

did the trick.  The range below 20% on the volume bar is now usable and
jives with the aural DB output from the speakers.  Thanks!
