Okay, so... where is the fix?
I'm a complete Linux newbie, but I'm raging right now because everything is so fricking hard to find out about. Yes, I am smashing my head and my fists against a brick wall right now. :)

I should have just downgraded to 7.10 right now, but then I wouldn't be
able to activate my graphics card drivers, because they stop supporting
the current Linux distrubation after two days.
