I don't think so, my monitor was never supported correctly by the X
server either.

In trying to obtain an EDID dump with get-edid I come across this:

 "The EDID data should not be trusted as the VBE call failed
  Error: output block unchanged"

where get-edid stops and exits. I'll attach the data I've gathered, but I don't know
if it's going to be of much use.
