Tested an up to date Lucid as for 2010-03-09 on my T30. I can actually
log into the desktop now but unfortunately, as soon as I open a couple
of windows, the window decorations don't appear and I get the same
messages in kern.log as jdstrand above.

I am using no xorg.conf, with KMS, and no compiz (no compiz is the
default setting on a T30). I have Ubuntu 2.6.32-16.24-generic also.
