Hi Jeremy,

I have frontends running Intrepid, Karmic and Lucid, and a
backend/frontend on Intrepid. mythtv is 0.22 version (on all, of
course). Mythtv is running on all systems; I have not seen the original
bug in a while.

What is still not right is that whatever is playing - like Rythmbox - is
suspended when mythfrontend is started, and only resumes after
mythfrontend is ended. This suspension happens upon simply starting
mythfrondend, it does not have to do anything producing sound! I believe
this is to some odd way mythtv uses (pulse?)audio, but that is not what
I would expect as behaviour.
