This affects me also. I have an HP Compaq 6820s with an ATI RV516
(Radeon X1350) graphics card, The same symptoms with the flickering. I
notice a small flickering every couple of seconds, and severe flickering
at random time periods. Sometimes it comes back to normal, sometimes it
doesn't, and I have to reboot.
