I'm having the same exact issue with the latest Ubuntu 10.04 netboot
environment.

Kernel is 2.6.32-16-generic downloaded from
http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/lucid/main/installer-
amd64/current/, firmware is present in netboot environment but it keeps
cycling through with the same messages in the attached screenshot and
never pulls up an interface.

I will download the Alpha 3 ISO and test the upstream kernel as well and
provide feedback.
