It looks to me like this is related to bug #533135, nouveau driver with > 1 display attached.
Are you able to boot the livecd if you press ESC right when plymouth splash appears?

That switches the vt to regular terminal mode (?) and I was able to boot
my system using this hack.

Timo Aaltonen, I have provided the Xorg logs in bug #533135, hope that
helps...
