[Bug 507875] [NEW] kubuntu lucid alpha 2 doesn't boot

First the install tages *ages* during "running grub-update" (no idea if
this is connected, thought I'd mention it).

After I reboot and select the freshly installed kubuntu lucid alpha 2
64-bit in grub I get
