Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: util-linux

Ubuntu Lucid Beta1 (i386) does not automatically mount my external
Harddisk (WD MyBook). It did in all the stable Ubuntu versions (dapper
to karmic) before. When I want to mount my external HD I just select it
in the Computer section in Nautilus (I know I can also mount it in
terminal).

Sometimes the mount program just crashes and gives a crash report. When
mount crashes I am not at all able to access my external HD.

Let me know if you need more info.
