[Bug 543562] [NEW] suspend works once then fails on all subsequent attempts

Public bug reported:

I am using a msi cr600 laptop with an nvidia 8200m graphics card and the
nvidia proprietary driver.  I have 10.04 beta 1 installed.  This bug
also affected 9.10.  I can suspend and resume correctly only once.  On
the second attempt it appears to suspend, the screen goes blank, the cd
drive starts spinning and then immediately resume and go back to the
desktop at which point there is normal operation.  hibernate appears to
work correctly.
