CHANGE the line: linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-20-generic root=UUID=... ro quiet splash
TO: linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-20-generic root=UUID=... ro quiet splash i8042.reset=1

=> suspend to RAM works now
