[Bug 545236] [NEW] When clicking on 'crash report detected' a huge number of crashes occur.

Public bug reported:

When I start the laptop up it reports a crash in the top right tool bar.
The OS runs perfectly fine until I click this error to view the reason.
Then one after another things crash until the OS is completely unstable.
I can leave the laptop on and use it for longer than a week with no
problems, until I click on 'Crash Report Detected'.

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 (most up to date version) on a macbook 1,1
upgraded from 9.10.
