[Bug 548387] [NEW] Keyboard not working on PPC iMac or G4 "digital audio" mac

Public bug reported:

On both the "iLamp" imac and the G4 "digial audio" mac (PPC), I can not
get any USB keyboard to work at the Gnome log in. The keyboard does work
in single user mode.  I have tried several USB keyboards. I have tried
connecting the keyboard directly to the mac or through a hub

The mouse does work fine.
