The USB DVB-T Receiver "Hauppauge Nova-T Stick 2" (VID:PID=2040:7060) works fine as long as it is inserted the first time after a reoot.
But since ubuntu 9.10 and also in ubuntu 10.4, after disconnecting the idle stick (without any DVB TV application running), the corresponding drivers aren't removed properly which results in:
- sometimes a completely frozen system
- or the system doesn't go into standby
- or at least, after reconnecting the stick, it doesn't work again (tested with MeTV)
(see lsmod and end of syslog)
After using MeTV it is also not possible to remove the drivers manually
by rmmod or modprobe -r mt2060 dvb_usb_dib0700 dib7000p dib7000m
dvb_usb, dvb_core dib3000mc dibx000_common dib0070
