Going by guesswork by looking at the names of the bugs in the tracker
when searching with keywords 'ieee80211_scan_completed', the issue seems
to happen in:

- scan.c line 288 in linux-2.6.32 (according to two other bugs)
- scan.c line 285 in linux-2.6.32 (according to *this* bug)
- scan.c line 281 in linux-2.6.31 (according to 18 (!) bugs)

and it kinda tails off after that...

Two of the bugs that I've seen that turned up in that keyword search
(which gave 32 total result bugs) make some vague reference to the
NVIDIA blob.  This might be a red herring, though, although I am
incidentally using the blob too.

The issue seems to happen on both 64-bit and 32-bit versions.
