Just to update the bug-report data sent:

(1) Upgraded to virtualbox 3.1.6, and able to run full screen / resize screen (had problem and was limited to a "lowgraphics option" (?) in 3.1.4 w/o full screen, and no re-sizing)
 
(2) still get error report, but no experienced "real" crash of sysyem in v-box (not yet ...)
