Public bug reported:
I'm getting inconsistent behaviour with vmlinuz-2.6.32-18-generic.
Case 1) Boots at least as far as fdisk, and then freezes with last message being something like:
mountall: /proc/usb does not exist
Case 2) Dumps be to busybox pretty early in the process with a message saying:
/dev/disk/0c348e4b-57dc-406b-8331-179437cd311b does not exist
(The above disk is my root).
Booting using vmlinuz-2.6.31-20-generic works fine.
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
