** Description changed:
Binary package hint: compiz
When I try to enable Compiz this causes a Kernel Panic on my PC. Same
thing happens if I try to boot from CD. I have to use Ubuntu 9.10 with
no Compiz. I think that is related to my Intel GMA 950.
+
+ ***EDITED May 1 2010***
+ I still having the problem with the final release of Ubuntu 10.04. Only boots with i915.modeset=0 xforcevesa
+ If I try to start compiz from Terminal I got warnings like this:
+ "WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXCreatePixmap" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug!"
+ OpenSUSE users had same problems with these Intel graphic cards, but now it's apparently solved.
+ I hope to comeback to Ubuntu someday :D
+ In the mean time I'm still using Mac OS X that's great.
