I'm having the same problem here

GLib-WARNING **: getpwuid_r(): failed due to unknown user id (0)
stdin: error 0
/init:line7:can't open /dev/sr0:no medium found
/init:line7:can't open /dev/sr1:no medium found

and so on...
I still can't install lucid lynx from my USB stick, might try installing via CD later.
anyone have a solution?
