The above command will not work as my problem is that my network/LAN card is not being detected by the router.

I have already attached the logs as bug attachments, for the following commands
1) uname -a
2) dmesg
3) lspci -vvnn

Which are the other logs that are needed?

Also Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx) here => http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/10.04/release/ only has DVD releases   (4.1G). 
Where can i find  a CD version?
