This one is a no-go in the Lucid release too.  I gave totof's wlan0
switcharoo a try and was able to download a big honkin file. Things were
looking hopeful, but right after it completed I dropped and had to reset
network manager (or turn off wireless with the hardware switch).  I have
a  Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG/BG running on Lucid with
2.6.32-21-generic. Frustrating that there aren't some wifi ninjas out in
ubuntu land that have whooped this well known bug.
