[Bug 213081] Re: CUPS does not print to LPD printer

Getting the same symptoms on a Lucid distribution-upgrade.  Worked in Karmic, fails in Lucid.  Dell tower, HP LJ4000 network printer.  Printing on my HP laptop just prints multiples, but I have fixed that issue before.  
I am trying the fix mentioned above for cupsd.conf  
net.ipv4.tcp_frto = 0
The fix works - the line was not in cupsd.conf
