The problem still is there in 2.6.32-0206321203 (2.6.32.12.3-lucid) and 2.6.33-02063303 (2.6.33.3-lucid).
But I noticed why it probably does not concern too many people:
The errors only occur if at least one VLAN interface is stacked upon the ethX interface handled by the sky2 module, like eth0.18.
