Public bug reported:

I have a MSI K9A2GM-FIH (MS-7501) 780G motherboard. Under 9.10
everything worked fine, but in 10.04 with the 2.6.32-21-generic
#32-Ubuntu SMP x86-64 kernel (and earlier Lucid kernels) the system
boots, runs for a bit, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours and then
hangs. Adding the noapic kernel parameter fixes this problem.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
