Laptop Dell D400 latitude
Graphics Card VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

I upgraded from V9.10 and hit this graphics card problem.

Needed to use the boot option i915.modeset=1 to get the graphics working
- without this had the black screen problem mentioned earlier in the
post.  Still have problems playing videos but that is not a big problem
for me.
