I've done the test again with the latest cd image and also with the
upstream kernel: I've got the same results.

  Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Beta 1 full updates installed on March 20, 2010.
  
  Running the snr-002 "Extended Suspend/Resume test" there are some
  failures.
  
  Launching the command sudo /usr/share/checkbox/scripts/suspend_test
  --full :
  
  1) The laptop does not suspend at TEST 1 -- suspend triggered via dbus message with AC cord attached.
  2) TEST 2 -- Suspend with AC disconnected works as espected.
  3) TEST 3 -- Suspend with AC connected fails and the Laptop does not wake up. The monitor stays blank even if the power-up light is turned on and a heavy fan noise can be heard. The PC must be rebooted using the power switch.
