Public bug reported:
Tested on Asus UL30VT with BIOS version 210, running Fedora 12
Changing the SATA operation mode in BIOS from "enhanced" to "compatible"
completely disables the Intel card.
SATA mode set to "enhanced":
$ lspci -vnnn | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2a42] (rev 07) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: nVidia Corporation Device [10de:0a74] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
SATA mode set to "compatible"
$ lspci -vnnn | grep VGA
