** Description changed:

  This problem only exists with Lucid Lynx and Intel D945GCLF2
  motherboard. I also have Asus M3N78-VM motherboard and it works just
  fine with that same Pinnacle DVB-T usbstick and Lucid Lynx. Every other
  distributions work just fine with Intel D945GCLF2 and Pinnacle stick so
  I guess it's not a hardware problem. Something to do with usb sub-system
