@ Chase Douglas: As mentioned there is also a slight lag (albeit very
slight) just prior to this message appearing. I am also one of those who
are troubled by a dysfunctional splash screen, whereas my low-res splash
only appears after this message. If you believe that this slight lag (or
perceived lag, though I am not sure to what extent it is perceived in
the case of Bubba and zoli4290) is also because of the level of logging
detail, then I propose the following:

1. Let's make this bug about the nForce2 conflict/smb1 probe error.
2. I will create another bug for the behaviour of Grub at startup.
