There was a kernel update today, but I still can't get my system to boot
into X.

Neither of these kernels work for me without the "i915.modeset=1" kernel
option:

2.6.32-21
2.6.32-22

I had to update to a mainline kernel to get my system to boot properly
without having to resort to kernel options.

Currently using 2.6.34-020634rc6-generic
