Hello community,
Bug: "https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/185470/ " is smarked as
closed/solved, but sorry to say, but I am having this bug in Ubuntu
Lucid. The Microcode error appears after heavy load.
Similar, if not the same bug, has been reported also:
http://bugzilla.intellinuxwireless.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1593 and at the
end there is still a user with Ubuntu 9.10 RC having this issue.
Happens with kernel 2.6.32-19-generic-pae but also with 2.6.32-21
-generic-pae-phc (low voltage tunning).
Mostly happens after heavy net loads (download a 150Mb file from another
computer in the local network), after several seconds, sometimes it
works sometimes hangs (too often).
I have tried to load the module with the debug parameter, as described in http://bugzilla.intellinuxwireless.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1593, which is: "modprobe iwl3945 debug=0x43fff " but got the error:
[ 1019.362270] iwl3945: Unknown parameter `debug'
So, here is my dmesg | grep iwl3945:
** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
