I did try to do as you suggest but despite trying to offer the search
engine the bug number, the title, and both (3 separate searches) I
failed to locate that bug (565310) through the ubuntu-error process
(apport). Therefore I resorted to this clumsy alternative.

Maybe I was doing it wrong, but I was trying what seemed logical based
on the screens I was looking at and the documentation which I had read.
