[Bug 577671] [NEW] mouse and keyboard don't work with motherboard ASUS p4s800

Public bug reported:

I had use many way to install ubuntu 10.04,like install form CD、Install
form text mode、update form 9.10 to 10.04

but the problem is always the same:when it turn into ubuntu 10.04's
GUI,the mouse and keyboard won't work anymore.No matter using ps/2 or
usb .

For example:At first I was using ubuntu 9.10,the mouse and keyboard are
work fine.But when I use update manager to update the system to ubuntu
10.04,the mouse and keyboard will no longer working.

And the same problem is happened when I use cd to install,every time
when monitor comes to graphic install scenes,the mouse and keyboard
won't work anymore.

I have search the article,and I found that the same problem has been
report on Bug #577183,but my situation is worser,I can't do anything on
system,all my io device just can't work,so there is no way I run any
command from a Terminal,like apport-collect -p linux 577183.

Please,now I am wondering if I can use any further new version of
ubuntu,pleass help us out.
