[Bug 578293] [NEW] Screen goes purple at startup and the computer crashes

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start gdm or X system
2. Screen goes purple and computer freezes

I'm using Lucid UNE on a imac G4 (iLamp)
Before the final release of Lucid it was working.

I can workaround the bug disabling KMS on nouveau driver using the
modeset=0 module param.

VGA card is a Nvidia gforce2 MX:
