@ frankernet: which one? an update in the channel broke the salvetri
fix, so I installed the 2.6.33 one instead. You can get the RaLink
drivers here:  http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=2. The
ubuntuforums networking section might help you, too ... or look at the
comments posted in (the duplicate of this bug)  #496093
