I still get an error on updates as I have been for awhile. I think the
error code is 17 now. I updated to Karmic from updater last week. I think
I am going to do a clean install. My current install is still usable but I
did not have my home directory on its own partition and I think I will try
to upgrade to grub 2.0 and their are a few other things I want to do.
Better to just do a clean install for this. thanks for your help anyway.
Karmic is an LTS release so I think it would be a good idea to reinstall on
this release.
