  In power management preferences, there is an option to make your computer Hibernate when battery is critically low.
  Even this option is clearly activated, my netbook keep getting "hard" shutdowns when the battery is low.
  I think this is related with another problem:
  When the battery is lower than 5% it goes straight from 5% to 0.0%. Looks like the system can't get an exact charge value for the battery when power is very low.

+ EDIT: I just reproduced the bug to be sure there is a real problem. The battery goes down slowly to 3/2% then goes straight to 0% during 10mn or so then the laptor just suddenly power down. No hibernate nor even an attempt to get to hibernation.
