[Bug 558428] Re: Computer freez every few days

So I got here through 'ubuntu-bug linux' command but I don't think the
report that was generated by this tool got attached to this Bug when I
selected it. Let me know if you want me to do something to add the
report. I just bought this Gateway NV59 and installed the latest Ubuntu
and now it is crashing about once a day. The display completely freezes.
I can't ctrl-alt-backspace or ctrl-alt-F1 away, but I was once able to
continue a skype conversation for a little while after the freeze. It
usually happens out of nowhere while I'm not doing anything particular
or at night(the computer is stuck on the screen saver when I get back in
the morning).  It's a plugged laptop and it's not configured to sleep
when idle.

This is the first time I post a bug, let me know if you need more
information.
