Jeremy,

the problem it's completely gone. But, unfortunately, a new one
(related to the old one) has arrived: is a very similar bug to this one:

bugs at lists.ubuntu.com/msg410404.html

Whenever I unplug my laptop, the system says that I only have one
minute of battery life (regardless of that, at the same time, it says
that I have 100% of battery) and the the computer suspends. When I
resume, I can use the computer normally on battery power, but is very
annoying.

Do you have any information about this problem?

Thank you in advance,
Milton

Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results.
