Hi everyone. I am experiencing this problem on a Dell Inspiron 600m. I
have tried to install the generic fix referenced in comment #17,
however, I get the following error when I try to install the deb:

>spinlock at sendak:~/Downloads$ sudo dpkg -i *kamal*.deb

>dpkg: error processing linux-headers-2.6.32-22-generic_2.6.32-22.34~kamal~scien_amd64.deb (-->install):

Is there a version of this fix for a generic i386 machine? Thanks.
